David Byrne With Special Guest Ani DiFranco
Tuesday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m.
David Byrne, co-founder of the innovative group Talking Heads, brings his
'Songs of David Byrne and Brian Eno' on tour this summer. Described as
'gorgeous, melodic and spiritually uplifting,' the concert had audiences
dancing in the aisles. Bryne and his band perform Talking Heads classics like
"Burning Down the House," "I Zimbra" and "Life During Wartime" next to songs
from his collaborations with Brian Eno, including My Life in the Bush of
Ghosts and their new record, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.
Singer, songwriter, guitarist and Buffalo native, Ani DiFranco performs folk
to punk and everything in between. She is a prolific artist and through her
own Righteous Babe Records and foundation has backed various grass roots
organizations.
An Evening with Crosby, Stills & Nash
Wednesday, June 10 at 8:00 p.m.
This trio of legendary singer-songwriters has been actively collaborating
since 1969 bringing harmony to the forefront of popular music. Each musician
created groundbreaking music with landmark bands prior to forming CSN: The
Byrds (Crosby), Buffalo Springfield (Stills) and The Hollies (Nash) which led
CSN to be known as music's first “supergroup.” Throughout changing times and
various configurations, CSN remains an essential element of our pop culture
experience. Signature hits include "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," "Wooden Ships,"
“Marrakesh Express,” "Long Time Gone,” “Teach Your Children," "Helpless,"
"Love the One You're With," "Our House," "Just a Song Before I Go," and "Carry
On." Forty years on from their first live set at Max Yasgur's farm, they are
still three together.
The Offspring

The Offspring, one of rock's most exciting and enduring bands, continue to
forge new territory with members Dexter Holland (vocals, guitar), Noodles
(guitar), Greg K (bass) and Pete Parada (drums) – marking its first full North
American tour in four years. The Huntington Beach, California natives formed
in 1984 and have since performed over 1000 shows and sold more than 34 million
albums worldwide. The California punk veterans helped define modern rock radio
with such songs as “Come Out and Play” “Self Esteem,” “Pretty Fly (for a White
Guy),” and most recently "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid," from their eighth studio
release, Rise and Fall, Rage And Grace.
Boston-based Dropkick Murphys are known for their electric blend of celtic-punk-folk-rock
where everyone is encouraged to sing along with a good spirited all for one,
one for all, attitudes.
Bad Company and Doobie Brothers
Thursday, July 2 at 7:30 p.m.
The original members of Bad Company will reunite this summer for their first
tour in nearly a decade. Bad Company’s hit songs such as “Can’t Get Enough,”
“Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Shooting Star,” “Bad Company,” and “Rock & Roll
Fantasy” helped propel the group to the forefront of the arena rock movement.
Founding members - vocalist Paul Rodgers, guitarist Mick Ralphs and drummer
Simon Kirke--will be accompanied by bassist Lynn Sorenson from Rodgers' solo
band and former Heart guitarist Howard Leese.
As one of the most popular Californian pop/rock bands, the Doobie Brothers
have continually defied categorization, while maintaining their signature
sound. Their string of radio hits include “Black Water,” “Takin’ it to the
Street,” “Listen to the Music,” China Grove,” and “Long Train Runnin.” The
Doobies are known for their high-energy shows, and are truly one of America's
most loved rock and roll bands.
Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra with the Rochester
City Ballet
Friday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Join the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Rochester City Ballet for an
amazing evening of performances and fireworks as we celebrate America! Enjoy

Judas Priest
With Special Guest Whitesnake
Wednesday, July 8 at 7:00 p.m.
One of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, Judas Priest is
known for such arena-rocking anthems as “Breaking the Law,” “Living After
Midnight,” “Metal Gods,” and “You’ve Got Another Think Comin.” The band will
perform their classic 1980 album British Steel in its entirety for the first
time ever on stage in addition to fan favorites. With Rob Halford’s powerful
vocals and the two-lead guitar attack of K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton, Judas
Priest remain as popular as ever.
Fueled by legendary frontman David Coverdale, blues-based hard rock group
Whitesnake conquered both UK and America with such smash songs as “Here I Go
Again,” and “Is This Love,” alongside blockbuster albums, Slide it In,
Whitesnake and Slip of the Tongue. Judas Priest and Whitesnake are joining
forces to bring fans all the English heavy metal and hard rock they can
handle.

Tim McGraw
A special concert with proceeds to benefit the Canandaigua YMCA
Thursday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Tim McGraw is one of country music's premiere talents with a career
marked by record-breaking tours and multi-platinum albums, and at least one
No.1 single every year since 1994. He remains an artist unafraid of breaking
new ground with chart-topping collaborations. It is his knack for connecting
with his audiences, whether he is singing a classic like "Live Like You Were
Dying," or making history with wife Faith Hill during one of the best-selling
multi-year tours in country music history, that have made his hard-won
triumphs possible. Now, McGraw carries that legacy forward to Canandaigua
showcasing both his talent and charisma that make his concerts among the
industry's most exciting.

Jackson Browne

Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving
songs in popular music. Fans can expect to hear songs from his newest release,
Time the Conqueror, as well as career spanning favorites. Since his acclaimed
1972 self-titled debut album, Jackson Browne has defined a genre of
songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. Two of his
albums, Late For the Sky and The Pretender, are on Rolling Stone’s list of the
“500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” Among his Top 10 hits include “Running on
Empty,” “The Road,” “Rosie,” “Doctor My Eyes,” and “Rock Me on the Water.”
Two-time Grammy winner, Steve Earle is best known for his heartfelt rock and
country troubadour music. Earle will be touring in support of his newest CD,
Townes, songs written by his friend and mentor the late Townes Van Zandt.

The Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter is touring in support of We
Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., his current CD featuring the smash hit
“I’m Yours.” The song is a worldwide sensation, topping charts here in the US
and across the globe. Jason Mraz’ engaging pop melodies and observant
lyrics also shined through 2002’s Waiting for My Rocket to Come with
breakout hit “Remedy (I Won’t Worry),” and 2005’s Mr. A-Z. The San
Diego-based tunesmith is a tremendous live performer, known for “working as
hard as the fabled James Brown.”
The innovative G. Love and Special Sauce will open delivering a
combination of psychedelic grooves with their trademark hip-hop twist.
John Legend

Monday, August 10 at 7:00 p.m.
Neo-soul singer and pianist John Legend has come a long way since his days an
in-demand session writer and musician working with Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys
and Kanye West, among others. Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, the singer
(born John Stephens) worked his way into the Philadelphia music scene while
studying at the University of Pennsylvania. Kanye West gave Legend his first
big break when he signed the artist to his production company in 2004. Since
then, Legend has sold more than five million albums worldwide, garnered
multiple hit singles (“Ordinary People,” “Used to Love U,” “So High,” “Save
Room,” “Heaven,” "Another Again"), received five Grammy Awards and wowed rapt
audiences across the globe. Critics have called him one of the most compelling
and important singer/songwriters of this generation, an elegant ambassador of
soul.

Blondie and Pat Benatar

Blondie emerged as one of the great pop icons of the late '70s new wave punk
scene by defying easy categorization, writing great rock hooks and brilliant,
ironic lyrics. Debbie Harry went from the pages of Punk magazine to being on
the cover of just about every mainstream publication on the newsstands.
Blondie made an indelible mark with hits including “Call Me,” “The Tide is
High,” and “Heart of Glass.”
Pat Benatar has been acknowledged as one of the America’s leading female rock
vocalists. She is a four-time Grammy winner with six platinum and four gold
albums to her credit known for such powerhouse singles as, "I Need A Lover,"
"Heartbreaker," "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," "Hell Is For Children," and
"Love Is A Battlefield."
After almost 16 years together, The Donnas are still going strong with their
hard-rocking live shows and ever-expanding international fan base of “Donnaholics.”

The Allman Brothers Band and Widespread Panic
Saturday, August 22 at 7:00 p.m.
Rock and roll icons, the Allman Brothers Band return to Canandaigua on their
40th Anniversary celebratory U.S. tour with fellow Georgia road warriors,
Widespread Panic. Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks, Jaimoe, Warren Haynes, Derek
Trucks, Oteil Burbridge, and Marc Quinones deliver sets that vary every night,
pulling from their vast catalog of iconic American rock including, “Whipping
Post,” “Midnight Rider,” “Statesboro Blues,” “Mountain Jam,” and “Melissa.”
Widespread Panic formed in 1986 as a few friends picking guitars at the
University of Georgia. In their 23 years together, they’ve sold over 3 million
albums and perform to sell out crowds across the country. Known for never
playing the same show twice, Widespread Panic has forged roots rock, blues and
boogie into an aesthetic all its own. The arrival of guitarist Jimmy Herring
in late 2006 signaled the dawn of a new era and has pushed Panic to new
creative heights.
Counting Crows
With Special Guest Augustana
Sunday, September 6, at 8:00 p.m.
Counting Crows have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, a
number that only a handful of artists can boast. They first hit the mainstream
with their critically-acclaimed 1993 debut release August And Everything
After and the hit single “Mr. Jones.” The group continued to soar with “A
Long December," "Round Here,” Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi,” “Accidentally
In Love” featured in Shrek 2 and most recently, “You Can’t Count on Me.”
Counting Crow’s DIY and grass roots attitude has kept the band grounded to
what’s most important to them; their music and fans.
Southern California-based Augustana will open the show with their
platinum-selling melodic, piano-driven rock.
